Arrange what clients see on your booking page

Use the Booking Page tab in Settings to choose a layout, feature up to three offerings, add a Most Popular badge, rename your section headings, and build filter categories visitors can tap.

Updated August 27, 2026

Your booking page is usually the only page a client ever sees, and by default it hands them a flat list of everything you sell. A few minutes on the Booking Page tab gives that list a shape — the thing you most want booked at the top, headings in your own words, and filters that let someone find the right offering without reading the whole page.

Everything here lives in one place: Settings in the sidebar, then the Booking Page tab. A Page Preview panel on the right redraws as you change each control, and a Preview Booking Page link near the bottom opens the real page in a new window.

Pick a page layout

Page Layout decides how your offerings are grouped, and there are three choices.

Simple list puts everything in one column — event types, package offerings, and group events together. It suits a short list of three or four things.

Auto-sections groups them by what they are, under headings for sessions, packages, and groups. Nothing to configure: Calso sorts them for you, and a section you have nothing in is left out entirely.

Categories adds a row of filter pills at the top of the page, built from groupings you define yourself. Choosing it also changes the page's own heading from Select a session type to Browse sessions.

Feature up to three offerings

Featured Offerings pins your best work to the top of the page. Press Add, pick something from the list, and repeat — up to three. Each one shows as a chip labelled with its type, and the small × removes it again.

On the live page, featured items appear above everything else under a FEATURED heading, and they are pulled out of the list below so nothing shows twice. Once you have added one, a Display Mode choice appears: Stacked gives each a full-width card, Side by side puts them in a row of compact cards.

The picker lists everything you have built, including offerings hidden from your booking page. Featuring does not override visibility, so if something you featured never appears, check its Public toggle — see Control who can book an event type.

Exactly one offering can carry a "Most Popular" badge, and the card wearing it draws the eye.

Choose I'll choose and a dropdown lists every event type, package offering, and group event you have, each prefixed with its type. Pick one, or choose None to run without a badge. Use this when you have a specific thing you want booked — a brand-new package offering has no booking history, so it will never win on numbers.

Choose Auto — based on booking volume and Calso picks for you. The panel underneath names the offering it landed on, or tells you there is not enough booking history yet. Switching to Auto clears the offering you picked by hand when you save, so switching back means choosing again.

Rename the section headings

The Section Labels card appears once Page Layout is set to Auto-sections or Categories, and it lets you write your own heading for each kind of offering. There are four fields, each capped at 50 characters:

FieldHeading if you leave it blank
1:1 Sessions1:1 Sessions
Group SessionsGroup Sessions
PackagesPackages
ProductsResources

The Products field covers downloadable files you sell or give away, which sit in their own section at the foot of the page. A studio might use "Private Sessions", "Classes & Workshops", "Multi-Session Bundles", and "Free Downloads" instead of the defaults.

Build your own filter categories

Categories are groupings you invent — "For Beginners", "Corporate", "Online Only" — that become tappable pills across the top of your booking page. Visitors always see an All pill first, then your categories with a count of what's in each.

Two things worth knowing first. A category with nothing in it is hidden from visitors, so an empty grouping is invisible rather than broken. And anything you leave unassigned appears only under All — the Categories card tells you how many offerings are in that position.

  1. Switch Page Layout to Categories

Select Categories under Page Layout. A Categories card appears further down the tab, along with the Section Labels card, and the Page Preview on the right starts drawing filter pills.

  2. Name your first category

Type a name into New category name and press + Add Category or hit Enter. It saves straight away and appears in the list with a count of zero offerings. To rename one later, click its name in the list, type over it, and press Enter.

  3. Put the pills in the order you want

Each row has a small pair of arrows on the left; use them to move a category up or down, because this order is the order the pills appear in. The trash icon deletes a category after a confirmation, and nothing is lost when you do — the offerings in it simply become uncategorized.

  4. Assign each offering to a category

Categories are filled from the offerings themselves, not from this tab. Open an event type, a package offering, or a group event, and in its Basics section you'll find a Booking Page Category dropdown listing every category you have created, plus (None). Pick one and save that offering. The dropdown only appears once at least one category exists, which is why you create them here first.

  5. Save and look at the real page

Back on the Booking Page tab, press Save Booking Page Settings — the layout choice itself is not stored until you do — then open Preview Booking Page and tap through your own pills the way a client would.

Check it the way a client will

The Page Preview panel is a sketch, not the page. Before you call this done, open Preview Booking Page and read the real thing as a stranger: is the featured offering the one you actually want booked, do your headings make sense to someone who has never met you, and does every pill lead somewhere?

How the page looks — colours, your logo, the footer badge — is a separate tab, covered in Brand your booking page. Once it reads the way you want, put it in front of people: Put your booking page on your own website.

Frequently asked questions

How do I move one offering to the top of my booking page?

Open Settings, go to the Booking Page tab, and add it under Featured Offerings. You can feature up to three things, and they sit above everything else on the page under a FEATURED heading. There is no drag-and-drop reordering of the main list, so featuring is the way to promote something.

Why isn't my new category showing on my booking page?

A category only appears to visitors once at least one offering is assigned to it — an empty category is hidden. Open the event type, package offering, or group event you want in it and set the Booking Page Category field in its Basics section. Also check that Page Layout is set to Categories and that you pressed Save Booking Page Settings.

Can I change the wording of the headings on my booking page?

Yes. The Section Labels card lets you rename the 1:1 Sessions, Group Sessions, Packages, and Products headings, up to 50 characters each. The card only appears once Page Layout is set to Auto-sections or Categories, because the Simple list layout has no headings to rename.

Do I need a paid plan to arrange my booking page?

No. Every control on the Booking Page tab — the layout choice, featured offerings, the Most Popular badge, section labels, and custom categories — works on every plan, including Starter. Branding controls such as hiding the Calso badge are a separate matter and live on the Branding & Email tab.
