Find and share your booking links

Where Calso keeps your main booking link and the direct link for each event type, which button copies which, and where to put them so clients actually use them.

Updated August 27, 2026

Your booking page already exists and is already live. This article shows you the two link shapes Calso gives you, which button copies which, and where to put them so a client can book you without a single back-and-forth message.

Every workspace has one public booking page at your own short address, and every event type inside it has its own direct link. You never have to type either one out — Calso keeps a copy button next to each, on the dashboard home, in Event Types, and inside each event type.

CalsoYour booking page, as a client sees it

Both links are built from your Booking Page URL — the short name at the end of your address, set in Settings under the General tab. Everything else hangs off it.

What it opensWhat it looks like
Your whole booking pagecalso.io/jamie-rivers
One event typecalso.io/jamie-rivers/discovery-call
One package offeringcalso.io/jamie-rivers/package/six-session-block
One group eventcalso.io/jamie-rivers/group/tuesday-workshop

In each example jamie-rivers is the Booking Page URL and the part after it is that item's own short name. Use the whole-page link when you want someone to see the range of what you offer and choose for themselves. Use a single event type link when you already know what they need and want to remove a decision.

Where each copy button lives

Four places will hand you a link, and all four copy it straight to your clipboard — the button briefly reads Copied! so you know it worked.

  • Dashboard home, beside the Dashboard heading — the button showing your address copies your whole-page link.
  • SettingsGeneralBooking Page URL — the Booking URL card in the right-hand column copies the same link. Hover it and it reads Click to copy.
  • Event Types — each card has a small chain-link button in its top-right corner that copies that one event type's link.
  • Inside an event type, on the Details tab — the Booking URL field under Basics shows the full link with a Copy button beside it.
CalsoThe Event Types list
  1. Copy your booking link

Open your dashboard home and click the button beside the Dashboard heading. It shows your address, and clicking it copies the full link and reads Copied! for a couple of seconds.

  2. Open it the way a client will

Go to Settings, open the Booking Page tab, and click Preview Booking Page. It opens your live page in a new tab, exactly as a client sees it — no dashboard chrome, no signed-in shortcuts.

  3. Check what is actually on the page

Confirm the event types you want visible are there and the ones you do not are not. If the ordering or grouping is wrong, fix it in the same tab — see arrange what clients see on your booking page.

  4. Paste it where clients already are

Email signature, social bio, the confirmation message you send after a first call, the footer of your newsletter. One link in a few well-used places beats a link in twenty places nobody reads.

Sending someone to one event type only

Two toggles at the top of an event type decide how its link behaves. Active controls whether that event type accepts bookings at all — switch it off and the link stops working. Public controls only whether it appears on your booking page.

That split is more useful than it first looks. Turn Public off and the event type disappears from your public page but its direct link keeps working, so you can hand a returning client a link to a rate or a session you do not advertise. Calso tells you so on the event type itself, with a Hidden from public page notice under the header. If you want to go further and control who is allowed to complete the booking rather than just who can find it, see control who can book an event type.

Changing your Booking Page URL later

Calso checks the new address as you type and shows Available or Not Available underneath. If the one you want is taken you will see a message calling it a username — that is the same thing as your Booking Page URL. Setting it, along with your time zone and currency, is covered in set your booking page URL, time zone, and currency.

If you would rather clients saw your own web address than a Calso one, you can point a subdomain you own at your booking page instead — see point your own domain at your booking page. The copy buttons keep giving you the Calso form of each link, so swap the front of the address by hand when you want to share the branded one.

Seeing where a booking came from

Open Bookings and the Source column tells you which route each booking arrived through. Direct means the client used one of your shared links. Embed means they booked inside a widget on your own site, Portal means an existing client booked from their signed-in area, and Post-purchase means the booking was scheduled straight after buying something. You can narrow the list to one of them with the All sources dropdown — see find, filter, and export your bookings.

For finer detail, add your own campaign tags to the end of a link — for example calso.io/jamie-rivers?utm_source=newsletter, where utm_source is the label you are tracking and newsletter is the value you chose. Calso reads that value off the visitor's address and groups your page views and bookings by it under Funnel by Traffic Source, with anything untagged collected as direct. How to read that report is covered in read your booking funnel.

Where to go next

Once the link is out in the world, the next thing worth improving is what people land on — start with arrange what clients see on your booking page. And if you have a website of your own, you can put the same booking flow directly on it with put your booking page on your own website.

Frequently asked questions

What is my Calso booking link?

It is the Calso address plus your Booking Page URL — for example calso.io/jamie-rivers, where jamie-rivers is the short name you chose. That single link opens your booking page, which lists everything you have marked public. The fastest way to get it is the button beside the Dashboard heading on your dashboard home: click it and it copies the full link and reads Copied! for a moment.

Can I send someone straight to one session instead of my whole page?

Yes. Every event type has its own link — your booking page address with the event type's own short name on the end, such as calso.io/jamie-rivers/discovery-call. Copy it from the chain-link button on the event type's card in Event Types, or from the Booking URL field on the Details tab once you open that event type.

What happens to links I have already shared if I change my Booking Page URL?

They stop working. Calso does not forward the old address to the new one, so anything you have already put in an email signature, a social bio, or a printed card will fail — and so will every event type link built on top of it. Pick the address you want early, and if you do change it, re-copy and re-post every link afterwards.

Do I need a website to share my booking page?

No. Your booking link works on its own anywhere you can paste text: an email signature, a social bio, a text message, a calendar invite. Putting the booking flow inside your own website is an extra option, not a requirement.
