Set your booking page URL, time zone, and currency

All three live in the same place. Open Settings from the sidebar and stay on the General tab — it is the one Calso opens by default — and the first card, headed Workspace, holds all three fields and the Save button that applies them.

Your Booking Page URL

Booking Page URL is the short name at the end of your public address. If you set it to jamie-rivers, your booking page is at calso.io/jamie-rivers, and every event type link is that same address with the event type's own short name on the end, such as calso.io/jamie-rivers/discovery-call. Calso shows the full address in grey underneath the field as you type, so you can see exactly what you are building.

The field only accepts lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens, and it tidies what you type as you go: capitals drop to lowercase, spaces and punctuation become hyphens, and runs of hyphens collapse into one. So "Jamie Rivers Coaching" becomes jamie-rivers-coaching on its own.

A moment after you stop typing, Calso checks the name and tells you what it found: a green tick and Available if it is free, a red cross and Not Available if it is not. A grey tick means you are looking at the address you already have.

Some names come back Not Available even though nobody appears to be using them. Words Calso uses for its own pages — help, pricing, booking, settings and others like them — are reserved, as is a further set of held-back names. If you try to save one anyway, the message reads This username is not available. That is the same field: the error calls it a username, the setting calls it your Booking Page URL. Something specific to you — your name, or your name and your city — clears the check almost every time.

Changing your URL after you have shared it

If what you actually want is your own web address rather than a Calso one, you do not need to touch this field at all — you can point your own domain at your booking page and leave the Booking Page URL as it is.

Your workspace time zone

Timezone is the zone Calso reads every working hour in. Your weekly availability is stored as plain clock times, so a block that runs 9:00 to 17:00 means nine to five here — in whichever zone this field is set to. Change the zone and the same block describes a different stretch of the real day.

The dropdown lists the commonly used zones by name, city, and offset, so Toronto reads as Eastern Time (ET) — Toronto · UTC-5. Pick the city you actually work from. If yours is not on the list, choose the nearest listed city that keeps the same clock time and the same daylight-saving changeovers as you.

Clients never have to work any of this out. Your booking page opens in whatever time zone their own device is set to, with a picker they can change, so the times they see are already their times. Your side of it — the dashboard, your calendar events, and your availability hours — runs on the zone you set here. If you move, change the zone and then reopen your weekly availability hours to check they still describe the days you want to work.

Your default currency

Default Currency sets the currency every new price is created in. Six are supported, shown by code and symbol: CAD (CA$), USD ($), GBP (£), EUR (€), AUD (A$), and NZD (NZ$). It is also the currency shown on the Payments tab under your Stripe account details, so this is the setting that decides what your clients are charged in.

It applies going forward, not backward. Event types, package offerings, and products keep the currency they were created in, so switching the default later leaves everything you have already priced exactly as it was. Discount codes are the exception and need no thought: what you type into one is a number of cents, and those cents come off whatever currency that session is sold in. Set this before you price your first session and you will never have to think about it again.

Set all three and save

1. Open the General tab

   Click Settings in the sidebar. Calso opens on the General tab, and the Workspace card sits at the top of the left column.

2. Choose your Booking Page URL

   Type the short name you want in Booking Page URL and read the full address forming underneath it. Wait a beat for the check beside the field to settle on Available before you move on.

3. Set your time zone and currency

   Pick the city you work from in Timezone, then pick the currency you charge in from Default Currency.

4. Save the card

   Click Save. It briefly reads Saved! when the change is stored — until then nothing on this card has been applied.

5. Copy your finished link

   In the right-hand column, under the Sidebar Preview, the Booking URL panel shows your live address. Click it and it copies the whole link to your clipboard, reading Copied! for a couple of seconds.

One Save button per card

The General tab stacks several cards down the page, and each has its own save button that stores only its own fields. Save on the Workspace card covers exactly the three settings in this article and nothing else, so editing a card further down and pressing this button quietly loses that other change. Work one card at a time and save it before you scroll on — fill in the profile clients see covers the cards below this one and which button belongs to each.
