Brand your booking page
Choose one of seven colour palettes or set your own hex colours, upload your logo, hide the Calso badge, and know exactly which client-facing pages your branding reaches.
Your booking page is the part of Calso your clients actually look at, and out of the box it wears Calso's own gold-and-cream look. A few minutes on one tab changes that: your palette, your accent colour, your logo, and — on the right plan — no Calso badge anywhere.
Everything here lives in Settings in the sidebar, then the Branding & Email tab. On a wide screen a sticky Live Preview panel redraws the moment you touch a control, under the reminder Changes preview in real time · Save to apply. That reminder matters: nothing in the preview is live for clients until you press the Save button belonging to that card. On a narrow window the preview is hidden, so do this on a laptop if you can.
Pick a colour palette
The Color Palette card offers seven presets, and every one of them is available on every plan, Starter included:
- Calso — gold and cream
- Cool Teal — teal and slate, calm and clinical
- Electric Violet — electric purple, high energy
- Terracotta — warm terracotta and sand
- Monochrome — pure black and white
- Soft Rose — soft rose and blush
- Forest — deep forest and gold
Click a swatch and the preview redraws straight away without saving anything, so you can try all seven. When one looks right, press Save Palette.
A palette sets ten related colours at once, but the accent does most of the visible work: it rings your profile photo, colours your title under your name, highlights the time a client has picked, and fills the main button.
Set your own brand colours
If a preset gets you close but not all the way, Custom Colors replaces it with six values of your own: Accent, Surface, Text, Muted, Card, and Border. Each has a swatch and a hex field.
- Tick Use custom colors instead of a preset
The checkbox reveals the six pickers. On its own it changes nothing a client sees — think of it as opening the drawer, not applying the colours.
- Optionally extract them from your website
Type your address into the Extract from website field — plain text like yourwebsite.com is fine — and press Extract. Calso reads the page and fills all six pickers for you.
- Check what came back
If your site runs on Shopify, Squarespace, or Wix, Calso will tell you it could only read your site icon and that the results want fine-tuning. Treat extraction as a starting point.
- Adjust each colour and save
Nudge any of the six until the preview looks right, then press Save Custom Colors. Your booking page picks up the new colours immediately.
Once you are working with custom colours, stay on Save Custom Colors. Save Palette is a deliberate reset: it applies the selected preset and clears every custom value you had stored — ideal when you are starting over, worth knowing before you press it out of curiosity.
Add your business logo
Under Business Logo, click Upload logo and pick your file. Calso accepts PNG, JPEG, and WebP up to 2 MB, and a transparent PNG around 400×100 pixels sits best in the space it is given. Once a logo is in place, Replace swaps the file and Remove clears it.
Uploading puts the logo into the Live Preview but does not publish it: press Save at the foot of the card and it appears for clients. Remove takes effect the moment you click it.
Remove the "Powered by Calso" badge
The "Powered by Calso" Badge toggle sits below the logo and reads Visible or Hidden. Studio and Platform can switch it off; Starter and Practice always show it.
Hiding it is more thorough than the label suggests. It clears the badge from your booking page sidebar and its mobile footer, from your event type, group event, package, and product pages, from the footer of the emails your clients receive, and from any booking card you have embedded on your own website. It also stops Calso adding "| Calso" to your booking page's browser tab title and search-result heading.
Where your branding reaches
Colours travel further than most expect. They apply to your main booking page, every event type page beneath it, group event pages, package pages, digital product pages, the embedded booking widget, and the preview image that appears when someone shares your link.
Your logo has a narrower job: it sits at the bottom of your booking page sidebar, beneath your profile, and stands in for your picture in the client portal if you have not added a Profile Photo — one more reason to fill in the profile clients see.
Two places branding does not reach. The emails Calso sends your clients keep Calso's own header and layout whatever your palette; the badge is the only control here that touches them, and to make them arrive from your own address see sending from your own domain. Your own dashboard is untouched too — this tab is only about what clients see.
Sidebar, banner, and logo placement
Layout Controls governs the shape of the page rather than its colour. Sidebar offers Visible, Auto-collapse (which folds it away once every profile field is hidden), or Hidden, which centres your offerings in a wider column. Logo Placement puts your logo in the Sidebar, the Banner, or Both.
Turning on Banner Hero adds a full-width header across the top. Paste a Banner Image URL — around 1200×400 works well, and an empty field gives you a gradient built from your accent colour — add a Tagline of up to 100 characters, and use the Banner Content Toggles to show or hide the Logo icon, Company name, and Tagline. Switch all three off and keep the image for a purely atmospheric header, then press Save Layout.
With the look settled, the next decision is what sits on the page and in what order: arrange what clients see on your booking page.
Frequently asked questions
Why isn't my logo showing on my booking page?
Two things catch people out. Uploading the file only puts it in the Live Preview — you also have to press Save at the bottom of the Logo & Badge card before clients see it. And the whole card needs a Studio plan or higher; on Starter and Practice it is dimmed and carries an Upgrade to Studio badge.
Which plan removes the Powered by Calso badge?
Studio and Platform. On those plans the toggle in the Logo & Badge card flips from Visible to Hidden, and the badge disappears from your booking page, your package and product pages, the emails your clients receive, and any embedded booking card. Starter and Practice always show it.
Do my brand colours change the emails my clients get?
No. Booking confirmations, reminders, and receipts keep Calso's own header and layout whatever palette you pick. The only branding control that reaches them is the Powered by Calso badge in the footer, which a Studio plan removes. If you want the emails to come from your own address instead, that is set further down the same tab.
I picked a preset to see what it looked like and lost my custom colours. What happened?
Save Palette applies the preset and clears every custom colour you had saved — it is a full reset, not a layer on top. Clicking a preset swatch on its own is safe: the Live Preview redraws immediately without saving anything, so browse there and only press Save Palette when you actually want the preset.
