Review your workspace audit log

The Audit Log is a dated, read-only record of the administrative changes made in your workspace — where to find it, how to filter it down to one kind of action, and how far back it reaches.

Updated August 27, 2026

When you cannot remember whether you changed a setting last Tuesday or last month — or you want to confirm a booking really was declined and not quietly lost — the Audit Log answers it with a date. It is a read-only list of the administrative changes made in your workspace, kept automatically, in order, with no setup on your part.

The page lives inside Settings, but it is not one of the tabs across the top of the Settings screen and it is not in the sidebar. You reach it by address. It is available on every plan, and it starts filling itself the moment your workspace exists.

Where to find the Audit Log

Sign in to your dashboard, then add /dashboard/settings/audit to the end of your Calso address — so the full address is calso.io/dashboard/settings/audit. The page opens with the heading Audit Log, and the Settings item in the sidebar stays highlighted while you are on it, so you can see you have not left Settings behind. If you check this more than once, bookmark the address rather than hunting for a link.

If the table reads No audit events found., nothing matching what you are looking at has been recorded yet. On a brand-new workspace that is normal.

What each column tells you

The table has four columns, newest entry first.

Time shows how long ago it happened — "3 days ago", "about 2 hours ago". Hover over that text and the exact date and time appear.

Actor names who did it. Underneath the identifier is a small badge for the kind of account: User means someone signed in to your workspace, which in practice means you, and Admin means a member of the Calso team acting on your workspace.

Action is the amber pill naming what happened, such as Workspace Updated.

Target shows the kind of record that changed and its internal reference. The reference is not something you look up by name — its use is matching two entries that concern the same booking or the same event type.

What Calso records here

These are the actions that land in your workspace's log.

What you didHow it appears
Saved a change to your core workspace settings — Booking Page URL, Timezone, Default Currency, your name, your scheduling defaults, your note and client portal settingsWorkspace Updated
Created an event typeEvent Type Created
Edited an event typeEvent Type Updated

Declined a booking requestBooking Declined

Entries carrying an Admin badge are the other half of the record: when the Calso team changes something about your workspace — granting or ending a plan, adjusting a subscription, issuing a refund from support, or pausing the workspace — that action is written into your log too, so those changes are not invisible to you.

Filter down to one kind of action

The dropdown above the table starts on All Actions. Narrowing it first is almost always faster than paging through everything.

  1. Open the Audit Log

Add /dashboard/settings/audit to your Calso address while signed in, and the full list loads with the most recent activity at the top.

  2. Choose the action you are looking for

Open the dropdown and pick a single action, such as Workspace Updated or Booking Declined. The list reloads from the newest matching entry, so you are no longer scrolling past everything else.

  3. Read the entry you want

Find the row and hover over its Time value to see the exact date and time rather than the "3 days ago" shorthand.

  4. Page further back

Fifty entries load at a time. If Load more appears at the bottom, the next fifty are added underneath the ones already on screen, and you can keep going until the button disappears.

What lives somewhere else instead

The audit log deliberately does not try to be your whole history, so a few things you might go looking for here are better found at their source.

Bookings arriving, being rescheduled, or being marked as a no-show are part of your booking history rather than your settings history — see find, filter, and export your bookings for filtering that list by status, date, and event type. Everything about one person — their sessions, payments, package credits, and the calls and emails you logged — belongs on their record, covered in work a client record. And sign-in activity is not part of the workspace record at all, so if account security is the actual question, turn on two-factor authentication is the control that answers it.

How far back it goes

Calso does not clear old entries on a schedule, so the log runs back to the oldest action ever recorded for your workspace. What limits you is the paging, not the age: fifty rows load at once, Load more adds fifty more, and changing the filter starts a fresh list from the newest matching entry. For anything more than a few weeks old, filter to the action first and then page.

If you came here because you were checking who could have changed something, the next thing worth doing is locking the account itself — turn on two-factor authentication takes about a minute and only needs your email.

Frequently asked questions

Where is the audit log in Calso?

It sits inside Settings, but it is not one of the tabs along the top and it is not in the sidebar. Reach it by adding /dashboard/settings/audit to your Calso address — so calso.io/dashboard/settings/audit — while you are signed in to your dashboard. Bookmark that address if you expect to check it more than once.

Why don't new bookings appear in my audit log?

The audit log records administrative changes to your workspace — settings you saved, event types you created or deleted, requests you approved or declined, refunds you issued — rather than every booking that comes in. Your booking history lives on the Bookings page, where you can filter by status, date, and event type. A single client's full history lives on their client record.

How far back does the audit log go?

Calso does not trim it on a schedule, so it runs back to the oldest action recorded for your workspace. The page shows 50 entries at a time, newest first, and Load more adds the next 50. To reach something older quickly, pick the action from the filter dropdown first — that shortens the list before you start paging.

Does the audit log show sign-ins to my account?

No. Sign-ins are not part of your workspace record, so the audit log will not tell you when your account was last signed in to or whether anyone tried and failed. If you want to protect the account itself, turn on two-factor authentication in Settings under the Security tab, which adds an emailed six-digit code on top of your password.
